Job Title

Graduate - Analog Mixed-Signal Design Engineer

Role Summary

Entry-level analog/mixed-signal IC design role focused on circuit design, simulation, verification and silicon bring-up. You will work with cross-functional teams including verification, physical design and lab technicians to deliver and validate analog/I/O and precision low-power blocks.

Experience Level

Entry-level β€” Graduate. Role targets recent graduates (graduated within the last year) or equivalent early-career candidates.

Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities include design, simulation, verification, and support of silicon validation for analog/mixed-signal IP.

  • Develop schematics and perform circuit analysis and pre-layout simulations for analog/mixed-signal building blocks.
  • Run and optimize simulations for precision, low-power analog and I/O circuits.
  • Collaborate on analog/digital testbench and design verification activities with cross-functional teams.
  • Debug and troubleshoot circuit issues; perform post-layout parasitic extraction and verification.
  • Prepare design documentation and present architecture, implementation, and validation results in technical reviews.
  • Work with physical design teams to meet layout-critical requirements.
  • Support silicon bring-up, bench evaluation and characterization; coordinate measurements with lab staff.

Requirements

Must-have technical skills and experiences for this role; a few items listed as preferred.

  • Must-have: Strong foundation in analog and mixed-signal circuit design.
  • Must-have: Proficiency with the Cadence mixed-signal design tool suite.
  • Must-have: Hands-on experience designing and simulating data converters and/or clock-generation IP.
  • Must-have: Experience with circuit debugging, verification and documentation of results.
  • Must-have: Good interpersonal, written and oral communication skills and time-management.
  • Preferred: Power management IC design experience and prior bench/silicon characterization exposure.

Education Requirements

Master's degree preferred in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Quality Assurance or a closely related field; role targets candidates who have graduated within the last year. Bachelor's degree candidates are also referenced by the employer's wage bands.
