Job Title
Graduate - Analog Mixed-Signal Design Engineer
Role Summary
Entry-level engineering role on an analog/mixed-signal design team focused on circuit design, verification, and silicon bring-up for precision, low-power, and I/O building blocks. The role works with cross-functional teams including verification, physical design, and lab technicians to deliver validated IP and silicon.
Experience Level
Entry-level / Graduate β ideal for candidates who graduated within the last year (Master's or PhD level preferred).
Responsibilities
The role involves hands-on design, simulation, verification, and support through silicon bring-up and characterization.
- Develop schematics and perform pre-layout circuit analysis and simulations for analog/mixed-signal blocks.
- Collaborate on testbench optimization for analog/digital signal verification.
- Run simulations to validate data converters, clock-generation, and other analog IP.
- Debug and troubleshoot analog/mixed-signal circuits and participate in technical reviews.
- Work with physical design teams on layout-critical requirements and perform post-layout parasitic extraction verification.
- Support silicon bring-up, bench evaluation, and device characterization; coordinate measurements with lab staff.
- Prepare clear design and validation documentation and present results to stakeholders.
Requirements
Must-have technical skills and experience relevant for immediate contribution; preferred items noted separately.
- Proficiency with the Cadence mixed-signal design tool suite.
- Hands-on experience in design and simulation of data converters and/or clock-generation IP.
- Strong foundation in analog and mixed-signal circuit design and debugging.
- Experience or familiarity with silicon bring-up and bench measurement practices.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and time-management skills; high attention to detail in documentation and validation.
- Nice-to-have: power management IC design experience and use of AI tools for design/verification.
Education Requirements
Graduated within the last year; Master's or PhD in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Quality Assurance, or a closely related technical field preferred.
