Job Title
Graduate - Analog Mixed-Signal Design Engineer
Role Summary
Entry-level engineering role focused on analog and mixed-signal circuit design, verification and silicon bring-up. The position works within a cross-functional product team and supports schematic design, simulation, post-layout verification and lab characterization.
Experience Level
Entry-level (Graduate / recent graduate). Preference for candidates who graduated within the last year; typically 0–2 years of relevant experience.
Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities include design, verification, simulation, debugging and support for silicon bring-up.
- Collaborate on design verification and optimize analog/digital testbenches.
- Create schematics, perform circuit analysis and run pre-layout simulations.
- Simulate and validate analog/mixed-signal building blocks (precision, low-power analog, I/O).
- Debug and troubleshoot circuit issues using simulation and lab measurements.
- Prepare design documentation and present architecture, implementation and validation results in technical reviews.
- Work with physical design teams on layout-critical requirements and perform post-layout parasitic extraction and verification.
- Support silicon bring-up, bench evaluation and characterization; coordinate with lab technicians for measurements.
Requirements
Key technical and interpersonal qualifications.
-
Must-have: Strong foundation in analog and mixed-signal circuit design; hands-on experience designing and simulating data converters or clock-generation IP.
-
Must-have: Proficiency with the Cadence mixed-signal design tool suite.
-
Must-have: Practical experience in circuit simulation, debugging, documentation and cross-team collaboration (design, physical, lab).
-
Nice-to-have: Power Management IC design experience.
-
Nice-to-have: Experience using AI tools for design and verification.
-
Other: Good interpersonal, communication and time-management skills; high attention to detail.
Education Requirements
Preference for recent graduates (graduated within the last year) with a Master’s or PhD in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Quality Assurance.
