Job Title

Graduate - Analog Mixed-Signal Design Engineer

Role Summary

Design and verify analog and mixed-signal integrated circuits as part of a cross-functional IC development team. Work spans schematic design, pre- and post-layout simulation, verification, silicon bring-up support, and coordination with physical design and lab teams.

This is a graduate-level, hands-on engineering role focused on precision and low-power analog/I/O circuits and related IP blocks.

Experience Level

Entry-level (Graduate). Targeted at recent graduates; the posting prefers candidates who graduated within the last year.

Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities include circuit design, verification, testing, debugging, and documentation.

  • Develop schematics and perform circuit analysis; run pre-layout simulations to validate design intent.
  • Design and simulate analog/mixed-signal building blocks such as precision and low-power analog and I/O circuits.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize testbenches for analog/digital signal verification.
  • Debug and troubleshoot analog/mixed-signal circuits; support silicon bring-up and bench characterization.
  • Perform post-layout parasitic extraction and circuit verification in coordination with physical/layout teams.
  • Prepare clear design documentation and present architecture, implementation, and validation results in technical reviews; coordinate measurements with lab technicians.

Requirements

Must-have technical skills and relevant experience.

  • Proficiency with the Cadence mixed-signal design tool suite.
  • Hands-on experience designing and simulating data converters and/or clock-generation IP.
  • Strong foundation in analog and mixed-signal circuit design and debugging.
  • Experience supporting silicon bring-up and bench evaluation is preferred.
  • Good interpersonal, communication, and time-management skills.
  • Power management IC design experience and experience with AI tools for design and verification are advantages.

Education Requirements

Preferred: Master’s or PhD in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Quality Assurance, or related technical fields. The role targets recent graduates (graduated within the last year). The posting does not state an explicit equivalent-experience clause.
