Job Title
Graduate - Analog Mixed-Signal Design Engineer
Role Summary
Entry-level engineering role on an analog/mixed-signal design team working on precision, low-power analog and I/O circuits and mixed-signal building blocks. The role covers schematic design, simulation, verification, post-layout validation and supporting silicon bring-up and characterization.
Experience Level
Entry-level (Graduate). Intended for recent graduates; typically 0–1 years of professional experience.
Responsibilities
You will develop, verify and validate analog/mixed-signal IP and support lab characterization and silicon bring-up.
- Design circuit schematics and perform pre-layout simulation and circuit analysis.
- Develop and optimize verification testbenches for analog/digital signal verification in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Simulate and validate analog/mixed-signal building blocks (precision, low-power analog, I/O circuits, data converters, clock-generation IP).
- Debug and troubleshoot circuit issues; perform post-layout parasitic extraction and verification with physical design teams.
- Support silicon bring-up, bench evaluation and characterization; coordinate measurements with lab technicians.
- Prepare clear design documentation and present architecture, implementation and validation results in technical reviews.
Requirements
Must-have technical skills and core abilities for immediate contribution.
- Proficiency with Cadence mixed-signal design tools (must-have).
- Hands-on experience designing and simulating data converters and/or clock-generation IP (must-have).
- Strong foundation in analog and mixed-signal circuit design, simulation and debugging.
- Ability to produce clear technical documentation and communicate results in reviews.
- Attention to detail across architecture definition, circuit design and validation.
- Good interpersonal and time-management skills for cross-team collaboration.
- Nice-to-have: power-management IC design experience, experience with AI tools for design and verification, experience supporting silicon bring-up and lab measurements.
Education Requirements
Graduated within the last year; Master’s or PhD in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Quality Assurance or a closely related technical field preferred.
