Job Title
Graduate - Analog Mixed-Signal Design Engineer
Role Summary
Entry-level engineering role on an analog/mixed-signal design team focused on development, verification, and silicon bring-up of precision and low-power analog/I/O circuits. Work includes circuit design, pre- and post-layout simulation, testbench optimization, and coordination with layout and lab teams.
Experience Level
Entry-level / Graduate — recent graduate (typically within 1 year); 0–1 years professional experience expected.
Responsibilities
Key technical responsibilities include:
- Develop analog/mixed-signal schematics and perform circuit analysis and pre-layout simulations to validate design intent.
- Collaborate on design verification and optimize testbenches for analog/digital signal verification.
- Simulate and validate building blocks such as data converters, clock-generation circuits, precision and low-power analog/I/O blocks.
- Debug and troubleshoot analog/mixed-signal circuit issues through simulation and bench work.
- Coordinate with physical design teams on layout-critical requirements, run post-layout parasitic extraction, and verify circuits.
- Support silicon bring-up, bench evaluation, and characterization; work with lab technicians on measurements.
- Prepare clear design documentation and present architecture, implementation, and validation results in technical reviews.
Requirements
Must-have technical skills and attributes:
- Proficiency with the Cadence mixed-signal design tool suite.
- Hands-on experience designing and simulating data converters and/or clock-generation IP.
- Strong foundation in analog and mixed-signal circuit design and simulation practices.
- High attention to detail in architecture definition, design, debugging, and documentation.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and time-management skills.
- Power Management IC design experience is a plus (nice-to-have).
Education Requirements
Recent graduate; a Master’s degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Quality Assurance is preferred. The posting targets recent graduates (within the last year) and references Master's-level preference; a Bachelor's degree is also noted in associated compensation guidance.
