Job Title
Graduate - Analog Mixed-Signal Design Engineer
Role Summary
This role focuses on analog and mixed-signal circuit design, simulation, verification and silicon bring-up. You will work with cross-functional teams (verification, physical design, lab technicians) to deliver and validate IP blocks such as data converters, clock-generation, precision analog and low-power I/O circuits.
Work contributes to semiconductor products used in power systems and IoT applications.
Experience Level
Entry-level (recent graduate). The role targets candidates who have graduated within the last year.
Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include:
- Design verification: collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize mixed-signal testbenches and verification flows.
- Circuit design: develop schematics, perform circuit analysis and run pre-layout simulations to validate designs.
- Simulation: validate analog/mixed-signal building blocks (precision, low-power analog, I/O circuits, data converters, clock-generation IP).
- Debugging: troubleshoot issues in analog/mixed-signal circuits and support root-cause analysis.
- Documentation: prepare clear design documentation and present architecture, implementation and validation results in technical reviews.
- Collaboration with physical design: define layout-critical requirements, perform post-layout parasitic extraction and verify circuits post-layout.
- Testing and bring-up: support silicon bring-up, bench evaluation and characterization; coordinate measurements with lab technicians.
Requirements
Must-have skills and experience:
- Proficiency with the Cadence mixed-signal design tool suite.
- Hands-on design and simulation experience with data converters and/or clock-generation IP.
- Strong foundation in analog and mixed-signal circuit design, simulation and debugging.
- Experience with pre-layout and post-layout verification, including parasitic-aware simulation.
- Ability to produce technical documentation and present results in reviews.
- Good interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills and time-management.
Nice-to-have:
- Power Management IC design experience.
- Experience using AI tools to support design and verification tasks.
Education Requirements
Graduated within the last year; Master’s or PhD preferred in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Quality Assurance.
