Job Title

Graduate - Analog Mixed-Signal Design Engineer

Role Summary

Entry-level engineering role focused on analog and mixed-signal circuit design, simulation, verification and silicon bring-up within a product development team. Work involves schematic design, pre- and post-layout simulation, testbench optimization, and lab characterization in collaboration with physical design and test teams.

Experience Level

Entry-level (Graduate). Position targets recent graduates; candidates who completed a Master’s or PhD within the last year are preferred.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include design, verification, validation and testing of analog/mixed-signal IP and features:

  • Develop schematics, perform circuit analysis and run pre-layout simulations to validate design intent.
  • Optimize testbenches and collaborate on analog/digital signal verification with cross-functional teams.
  • Simulate and validate building blocks such as precision, low-power analog circuits, data converters, and clock-generation IP.
  • Debug and troubleshoot analog/mixed-signal circuit issues; perform post-layout parasitic extraction and verification.
  • Support silicon bring-up, bench evaluation and characterization; coordinate measurements with lab technicians.
  • Prepare technical documentation and present architecture, implementation, and validation results in reviews.

Requirements

Essential technical skills and attributes for the role.

  • Proficiency with the Cadence mixed-signal design tool suite.
  • Hands-on experience designing and simulating data converters and/or clock-generation IP.
  • Strong foundation in analog and mixed-signal circuit design and simulation.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills; effective time-management.
  • High attention to detail in architecture definition, circuit design, debugging and documentation.
  • Nice-to-have: Power Management IC design experience.
  • Nice-to-have: Experience using AI tools for design and verification workflows.

Education Requirements

Graduated within the last year with a Master’s or PhD, preferred fields: Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Quality Assurance.
