Job Title

Graduate - Analog Mixed-Signal Design Engineer

Role Summary

Design and verify analog and mixed-signal building blocks and IP for semiconductor products. Work within cross-functional teams to perform circuit design, simulation, verification, silicon bring-up, and documentation.

This role is part of a graduate-level engineering program focused on early-career development in analog/mixed-signal IC design and verification.

Experience Level

Entry-level / Graduate — recent graduates (graduated within the last year) or equivalent early-career engineers.

Responsibilities

Primary tasks include design, simulation, verification, and support of silicon testing and characterization.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize testbenches for analog/digital signal verification.
  • Develop schematics, perform circuit analysis, and run pre-layout simulations to validate design intent.
  • Run simulations to validate analog/mixed-signal building blocks such as precision, low-power analog, and I/O circuits.
  • Debug and troubleshoot analog/mixed-signal circuit issues, including post-layout parasitic extraction verification.
  • Prepare clear design documentation and present architecture, implementation, and validation results in technical reviews.
  • Work with physical design teams on layout-critical requirements and complete post-layout verification.
  • Support silicon bring-up, bench evaluation, and characterization; coordinate measurements with lab technicians.

Requirements

Must-have technical skills and relevant experience for immediate contribution.

  • Proficiency with the Cadence mixed-signal design tool suite (must-have).
  • Hands-on experience in design and simulation of data converters and/or clock-generation IP (must-have).
  • Strong foundation in analog and mixed-signal circuit design, simulation, and debugging (must-have).
  • Experience with silicon bring-up, bench evaluation, or characterization (preferred).
  • Good documentation, presentation, interpersonal and time-management skills (must-have).
  • Power Management IC design experience (nice-to-have).
  • Experience using AI tools for design and verification (nice-to-have).

Education Requirements

Recent graduate with a Master’s or PhD preferred in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Quality Assurance, or closely related technical field. The posting targets candidates who graduated within the last year.
