Job Title
Graduate - Analog Mixed-Signal Design Engineer
Role Summary
Work as an analog mixed-signal design engineer on analog/I/O and data-conversion IP within Infineon's graduate program. The role covers schematic design, simulation, verification, documentation and silicon bring-up while collaborating with verification, physical design and lab teams.
Experience Level
Entry-level β recent graduate. Candidates who graduated within the last year are preferred.
Responsibilities
Responsible for designing, verifying and validating analog and mixed-signal circuits across design and test phases.
- Develop schematics, perform circuit analysis and run pre-layout simulations.
- Simulate analog/mixed-signal building blocks such as precision, low-power analog and I/O circuits and data converters.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize testbenches for analog/digital signal verification.
- Debug and troubleshoot analog/mixed-signal circuit issues.
- Prepare design documentation and present architecture, implementation and validation results in technical reviews.
- Work with physical design teams on layout-critical requirements and perform post-layout parasitic extraction and verification.
- Support silicon bring-up, bench evaluation and characterization; coordinate measurements with lab technicians.
Requirements
Key technical skills and experience required or preferred for successful performance.
-
Must-have: Proficiency with the Cadence mixed-signal design tool suite.
-
Must-have: Hands-on experience in design and simulation of data converters and/or clock-generation IP.
-
Must-have: Strong foundation in analog and mixed-signal circuit design.
- Good interpersonal, communication and time-management skills.
- High attention to detail across architecture definition, circuit design, debugging and documentation.
-
Nice-to-have: Power Management IC design experience.
-
Nice-to-have: Experience with AI tools for design and verification.
Education Requirements
