Job Title

Graduate - Analog Mixed-Signal Design Engineer

Role Summary

Entry-level analog/mixed-signal design role on a product engineering team. You will develop and verify analog building blocks, collaborate with layout and test teams, and support silicon bring-up and characterization.

Experience Level

Entry-level β€” recent graduate. Candidates who graduated within the last year are preferred.

Responsibilities

Primary duties include schematic design, simulation, verification, and lab validation of analog/mixed-signal circuits.

  • Develop schematics and perform circuit analysis and pre-layout simulations.
  • Run simulations for precision, low-power analog, and I/O building blocks.
  • Collaborate on testbench optimization for analog/digital signal verification.
  • Debug and troubleshoot analog/mixed-signal circuits.
  • Coordinate post-layout parasitic extraction and circuit verification with physical design teams.
  • Support silicon bring-up, bench evaluation, and characterization; work with lab technicians on measurements.
  • Prepare clear design documentation and present architecture, implementation, and validation results in technical reviews.

Requirements

Must-have technical skills and relevant practical experience; preferred skills listed separately.

  • Must-have: Proficiency with the Cadence mixed-signal design tool suite.
  • Must-have: Hands-on experience designing and simulating data converters and/or clock-generation IP.
  • Must-have: Strong foundation in analog and mixed-signal circuit design, simulation, and debugging.
  • Must-have: Effective interpersonal, communication, and time-management skills.
  • Preferred: Power management IC design experience.
  • Preferred: Experience using AI tools for design and verification.
  • Preferred: Experience with silicon bring-up and bench characterization.
