GPU System Performance Architect
Role Summary
Design processor and system architectures for GPU-accelerated cloud computing with a focus on performance, efficiency, and system-level trade-offs. Work with hardware and software teams to deliver GPU systems for data centers and cloud providers.

Senior - requires approximately 10 years of relevant work or research experience.
Responsibilities
Key responsibilities:
- Design and evaluate processor and system architectures that advance GPU-accelerated cloud computing.
- Develop analytical models, simulators, and visualization tools to assess performance, cost, and efficiency trade-offs.
- Analyze hardware–software interactions in large-scale data center GPU deployments.
- Collaborate with software, product, and business teams to influence GPU-accelerated cloud strategies.
Requirements
Must-have skills and experience:
- Deep knowledge of computer architecture demonstrated by work or research.
- Strong mathematical and analytical problem-solving skills.
- Experience with analytical performance modeling, simulation, profiling, and analysis.
- Effective communication, organization, and teamwork skills.
Nice-to-have:
- Background in data center/cloud computing design and hardware for virtualized environments.
- Experience with data analysis and visualization.
- Familiarity with GPU computing and parallel programming models.
- Experience in performance modeling or optimization of PCIe and I/O-centric workloads.
Education Requirements
Master's or PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline - or equivalent practical experience; the posting specifies roughly 10 years of relevant work or research experience as equivalent.
