Role Summary
Design, develop, and validate software across the Intel GPU stack, including firmware, device drivers, APIs, and application layers. Collaborate with hardware, firmware, and software teams to integrate features, optimize performance, and ensure reliability for graphics and compute workloads.

Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities include full-stack GPU software development, debugging, and performance optimization.
- Develop and validate GPU software across firmware, drivers, APIs, and application layers.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet program goals and hardware integration requirements.
- Optimize GPU software for performance, reliability, and scalability.
- Debug and troubleshoot issues spanning hardware, firmware, drivers, and applications.
- Use development, profiling, and productization tools and infrastructure for GPU and graphics/GPGPU software.
- Enable and integrate new GPU features in close alignment with hardware specifications.
Requirements

Must-have: 6+ years of software or firmware development experience.
- Proficiency in C/C++ and experience debugging graphics applications using DirectX 11, DirectX 12, or Vulkan.
- Experience with shading languages such as GLSL or HLSL.
- Expertise in Windows development environments and GPU hardware architecture.
- Experience debugging cross-layer issues involving hardware, firmware, drivers, and applications; familiarity with profiling and development tools.

Nice-to-have: Linux kernel and driver development experience.
- Strong fundamentals in algorithms, design, and architecture.
- Experience with low-level GPU programming and debugging.
- Knowledge of data center platforms, integration/release automation, and Git/GitHub.
Education Requirements
Bachelor's (BS) degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related STEM field.
