This is an entry-level engineering role with direct impact on GPU product behavior and validation across silicon, drivers, and firmware.
Experience Level
Entry-level (New college graduate).
Responsibilities
Typical responsibilities include:
- Analyze and document how GPU sub-system modules interoperate within the system.
- Architect and plan features in coordination with software, hardware, and verification teams.
- Create functional and performance models (often in C++) and author test plans to validate designs.
- Support post-silicon validation and debug activities.
- Participate in cross-team design reviews and provide clear technical specifications.
Requirements
Must-have and preferred qualifications:
- Must-have: Coursework or industry experience in computer architecture, operating systems, and/or system architecture.
- Must-have: Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams.
- Nice-to-have: Knowledge of advanced interconnects (PCIe, AXI, nvlink, or similar).
- Nice-to-have: Experience with scripting languages (for example, Perl) or other automation tools.
- Nice-to-have: Understanding of modern security constructs and encryption.
- Nice-to-have: Familiarity with RISC-V architecture and microcode development.
Education Requirements
BS or MS in computer architecture, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. Relevant coursework or industry experience in computer architecture, operating systems, and system architecture is expected.
