GPU IP Verification Engineer
Role Summary
Develop and execute verification plans, testbenches, and system simulations to validate graphics IP (3D graphics and media). Collaborate with architects, RTL developers, and physical design teams to find and fix pre-silicon issues and improve verification methodology.
Work contributes directly to the reliability and performance of Intel's GPU technologies.

Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include:
- Design, develop, and implement scalable, reusable IP verification plans and testbenches aligned to graphics microarchitecture specifications.
- Execute system-level simulations to analyze power, timing, and functionality; identify and resolve bugs.
- Debug presilicon issues, perform root-cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
- Collaborate with GPU architects, RTL developers, and physical design teams to improve verification methodologies.
- Document verification plans, run technical reviews, and maintain functional verification infrastructure.
- Define verification infrastructure and methodologies for complex architectural and microarchitectural features.
Requirements
Must-have skills and experience:
- Proficiency in RTL design using Verilog or VHDL and UVM concepts for testbench development (sequences, drivers, scoreboards).
- Strong foundation in digital electronics, embedded systems, computer architecture, and microprocessor fundamentals.
- Experience with scripting languages such as Python, Perl, or Ruby.
- Demonstrated problem-solving, debugging, and technical analysis skills in presilicon environments.
Nice-to-have:
- Familiarity with verifying media IPs (video codecs: HEVC, AVC, AV1), memory fabric validation, or GPU sub-IPs.
