Role Summary
Lead technical coordination of software delivery for a GPU IP development programme, aligning component teams, architects and programme priorities. This is a technical leadership role focused on planning, risk management and cross-team alignment rather than day-to-day individual coding.

Responsibilities
Provide system-level software leadership across multiple teams to ensure coherent planning, integration and validation for GPU features and hardware changes.
- Assess how new GPU features and hardware changes affect the software stack and dependencies.
- Coordinate ownership, delivery plans and validation needs across several component teams.
- Identify and communicate technical, integration, validation, schedule and resourcing risks early.
- Support timely decisions and provide accurate visibility of software readiness to the programme.
- Encourage system-level thinking and support software development, security and functional-safety practices where relevant.
Requirements
Essential technical skills and demonstrable experience for leading cross-team software delivery.
- Background in low-level, embedded or systems software with a sound understanding of hardware–software interaction.
- Proven experience guiding technical work across multiple engineering teams through collaboration and influence.
- Ability to reason across system behaviour, dependencies, integration needs, risk and validation.
- Clear written and verbal communication; able to explain technical choices and trade-offs to varied audiences.
- Delivery experience within a product programme with cross-group deliverables and changing priorities.
Nice-to-have
- Knowledge of GPU architecture, device drivers, firmware, compilers, graphics or compute software.
- Familiarity with Linux, Android, embedded platforms, SoC bring-up or hardware validation.
- Experience working with silicon, platform, product, customer or partner engineering teams.
- Understanding of functional safety, secure development, or other regulated development processes.
- Experience contributing to system specifications, validation strategies or technical readiness criteria.
