Job Title

GPU Core Pipeline IP Verification Engineer

Role Summary

Join the ASIC verification team to verify IP-level control subsystems for NVIDIA GPUs. The role focuses on developing verification infrastructure, tests, and coverage-driven methodologies to ensure correct RTL implementation of graphics and compute features.

Work closely with architects, designers, and verification teammates to define test plans, exercise micro-architecture corner cases, and close functional and code coverage.

Experience Level

Entry-level (approximately 2+ years of relevant experience recommended).

Responsibilities

The core responsibilities include IP-level functional verification, test development, and collaboration with hardware teams.

  • Verify GPU graphics and compute features at the IP level.
  • Develop test plans, tests, and verification infrastructure using constrained-random and coverage-driven methodologies (UVM/VMM style).
  • Create and use golden models to validate micro-architecture against specifications.
  • Implement functional and code coverage strategies and drive coverage closure.
  • Run simulations, debug failures, and analyze RTL behavior using industry verification tools.
  • Collaborate with hardware architects and designers to resolve design and implementation issues.
  • Maintain and extend verification environments and automation.

Requirements

Must-have technical skills and experience for successful performance in this role.

  • Familiarity with Verilog, C++, and object-oriented programming concepts.
  • Experience in unit-level verification and test planning.
  • Experience developing and working with functional-coverage-based constrained-random verification environments.
  • Good understanding of computer architecture concepts.
  • Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
  • Exposure to industry-standard verification tools for simulation and debug.

Nice-to-have:

  • Knowledge of SystemVerilog or similar hardware verification languages and familiarity with UVM/VMM methodologies.
  • Prior experience in 3D graphics processing or processor verification.
  • Proficiency in C/C++ and scripting languages such as Python or Perl.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Education Requirements

B.Tech. or M.Tech. degree (technical discipline) is specified in the posting; the role expects approximately 2+ years of relevant experience.
