Job Title

GPU Core Pipeline IP Verification Engineer

Role Summary

Member of the ASIC Verification team in Bengaluru responsible for IP-level verification of GPU core pipeline subsystems. The role focuses on developing verification infrastructure, validating RTL against specifications, achieving functional and code coverage, and debugging complex GPU features.

You will work closely with hardware architects, designers, and verification engineers to ensure correct implementation of graphics and compute features.

Experience Level

Entry-level β€” approximately 1+ years of relevant verification experience.

Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities include defining and executing IP-level verification for GPU ASICs and collaborating with design and architecture teams.

  • Verify graphics and compute features within an IP at unit/subsystem/SOC level.
  • Define verification scope and develop verification infrastructure and testbenches.
  • Create and validate golden models and verify micro-architecture and RTL implementations.
  • Ensure functional and code coverage targets are met for verified RTL.
  • Debug issues using simulation and debug tools; iterate with architects and designers to resolve design problems.
  • Collaborate with verification team members to integrate tests and document results.

Requirements

Must-have:

  • 1+ years of hands-on verification experience at unit/subsystem/SOC level.
  • Proficiency with Verilog and C++ and understanding of OOP concepts.
  • Experience with simulation tools such as VCS (or equivalent) and debug tools (e.g., Debussy, GDB).
  • Good understanding of computer architecture and RTL design/verification flow.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of SystemVerilog or similar HVL; experience with verification methodologies (UVM/VMM) is desirable.

Nice-to-have:

  • Experience in 3D graphics processing or processor verification.
  • Experience scripting and tool development with Python or Perl.
  • Strong debugging skills and experience with verification toolchains.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.
