Senior level. Candidates should have 7+ years of experience in semiconductor supply chain, manufacturing, or supplier management.
Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities include managing OSAT relationships and ensuring reliable backend manufacturing and shipment of packaged silicon.
- Lead OSAT supplier management: QBRs, KPI reviews, escalations, commercial negotiations, and vendor accountability.
- Coordinate engineering builds, qualification lots, process readiness, yield ramps, demand, capacity, materials, and production schedules across OSAT partners.
- Manage backend operations: bumping, assembly, burn-in, final test, and system-level test for advanced packaging and multi-die products.
- Own substrate and critical-material sourcing: capacity, pricing, tooling, lead-time risk, and high-density substrate requirements (e.g., HBM).
- Resolve supply, quality, yield, logistics, and schedule risks; establish OSAT data, KPIs, and processes to support analytics and automation.
- Work across North America and Asia-Pacific time zones and support cross-functional partner communication.
Requirements
Must-have technical and operational skills for the role.
- 7+ years of semiconductor supply chain, manufacturing, or supplier management experience.
- Practical knowledge of OSAT workflows (flip-chip, wire-bond, wafer-level packaging) and hands-on experience with Taiwan-based OSAT partners.
- Experience negotiating supplier agreements, pricing, tooling, and NRE costs; manage commercial and operational supplier issues.
- Experienced with ERP systems (e.g., SAP or Oracle), PLM systems, and reporting/BI tools (e.g., Tableau or Power BI).
- Strong data-driven operational skills and ability to take ownership in ambiguous situations.
