GaN Product Quality Engineering Manager

Manage a team of product quality engineers responsible for GaN product quality across the product lifecycle, from development through post-release. Lead qualification, compliance, customer requirements and cross-functional actions to ensure product reliability and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities
Key responsibilities focus on product release, quality performance, compliance and cross-functional customer engagement.
- Lead and manage a team of product quality engineers supporting GaN products.
- Support and drive GaN product release and qualification projects.
- Manage customer requirements and product documentation for releases.
- Monitor and ensure product quality during development and after release; perform data analysis.
- Ensure compliance with qualification standards, risk and change management processes.
- Act as the voice of the customer for quality requirements and expectations, especially for GaN-specific challenges.
- Work closely with development, marketing and operations to deliver on customer expectations and process compliance.
Requirements

- Proven capability or training records to operate as a group manager with direct reports.
- In-depth understanding of semiconductor products, GaN technologies and associated failure modes.
- Experience applying customer-specific requirements and international standards such as IEC, JEDEC, IATF 16949 and Automotive AEC-Q101.
- Structured, fact-based, solution-oriented approach with strong collaboration and team-working skills.
- Self-motivated, open-minded, and able to maintain a high quality mindset in a challenging environment.
- Excellent written and verbal English for international communication; good presentation skills and confidence interacting with customers and executives.
Education Requirements
Master's degree in electrical engineering, industrial engineering, material science, physics or a related field is required. The role references support for further academic development (possibility of funded support up to PhD level).
