Role Summary
Internship on the Digital Design team in Hod Hasharon. Work on digital chip design and RTL development, contributing to design, simulation, synthesis, debugging, and integration of digital hardware blocks under senior engineer mentorship.
Experience Level
Entry-level internship for current university students (internship).
Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities include hands-on support for digital design and validation tasks.
- Assist in digital design, development, and integration of hardware blocks.
- Run design checks, simulations, synthesis, and analysis.
- Help debug design issues and validate functionality with design and verification engineers.
- Develop simple automation scripts (Python or similar) to support tasks.
- Document design specifications, processes, and technical results.
- Learn and apply HDL languages, RTL methodologies, and design tools through project work.
Requirements
Must-have skills and attributes for successful performance in the internship.
- Strong understanding of digital logic and hardware design principles.
- Basic programming or scripting ability in Python.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively and learn quickly in a team environment.
Nice-to-have
- Exposure to Verilog or SystemVerilog through coursework or projects.
- Familiarity with a UNIX development environment.
- Basic understanding of timing, synthesis, and computer architecture concepts.
- Interest in digital hardware design, RTL development, and semiconductor design.
Education Requirements
Currently pursuing a B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering (third year) with at least four semesters remaining before graduation. Applications from candidates with equivalent experience will be considered.
