Functional Verification Agentic AI-focused Application Engineer
Role Summary
Technology-focused Application Engineer responsible for driving Agentic AI solution adoption across Americas accounts within Siemens EDA. Collaborates with Account Technology Managers, Account Managers, and regional FAEs to uncover, shape, win, and deploy AI-enabled design and verification solutions.
This hybrid, customer-facing role combines technical enablement, demand creation, and product influence in the early-stage Agentic AI space for EDA.
Experience Level
Senior — 10+ years of experience in digital design and verification in the semiconductor and/or EDA industry.
Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities include:
- Drive and grow Agentic AI business across Americas accounts; collaborate with ATM, AMs, and regional FAEs.
- Act as liaison between Functional Verification AI technical experts and customer technical owners for EDA AI.
- Provide hands-on technical expertise and enablement to field teams for Siemens AI solutions.
- Evangelize and proliferate Siemens Agentic AI solutions to customers and internal stakeholders.
- Develop and execute technical campaigns: prospecting, demand creation, setting expectations, and closing opportunities.
- Coordinate with account management, field technical teams, R&D, and marketing to deliver solutions and influence roadmap.
- Travel within North America as required.
Requirements
Must-have technical and professional skills:
- Hands-on experience deploying Agentic AI solutions and workflows, preferably for EDA customers.
- Practical experience with LLMs, MCP, AI toolkits, prompt engineering, and related Agentic AI components.
- Hands-on experience in digital ASIC design and verification, including testbenches with VIP, RTL generation, and digital simulation.
- Product and market knowledge in Agentic AI and semiconductor design/verification.
- Strong prospecting, demand-creation, and campaign management skills.
- Ability to set decision criteria and drive technical campaigns to closure.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to build relationships across account management, field technical, R&D, and marketing.
- Willingness to travel within North America.
Education Requirements
BSEE or equivalent degree, or equivalent practical experience. The posting specifies 10+ years of experience in digital design and verification in the semiconductor and/or EDA industry as an alternative to academic credential.
