Functional Safety Architect
The Functional Safety Architect defines, analyzes, and validates functional safety concepts and architectures for embedded hardware and software systems in automotive products. The role supports development of safety requirements, performs safety analyses, reviews verification/validation plans, and works with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with automotive safety standards.
Mid-level. The role expects approximately 6β8 years of hands-on experience in functional safety design and development for Tier 1 or Tier 2 automotive suppliers.
Primary responsibilities focus on developing safety concepts, performing analyses, and supporting implementation and customer enablement.
Core technical and practical skills required for the role.
Preferred:
Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Electrical, Computer Engineering, or equivalent practical experience. Equivalent professional experience in functional safety may be acceptable where stated.
