Role Summary

DBA Web Technologies seeks an FPGA Electrical Engineer to architect and develop Electronic Safe-and-Arm Devices for DoD weapon systems. The role focuses on FPGA and digital design, embedded firmware, algorithm implementation, and system-level verification.

The engineer will translate requirements into hardware and firmware, lead debugging and validation efforts, and work with cross-functional teams to ensure product quality and compliance with applicable engineering processes.

Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities include hardware and firmware design, requirement analysis, and verification for safety-critical embedded systems.

• Design and implement FPGA logic using Verilog and SystemVerilog.
• Develop and maintain embedded firmware in C for target platforms.
• Translate system and functional requirements into hardware/firmware architectures.
• Perform design verification, debugging, and root-cause analysis at board and system level.
• Develop and execute test plans; collaborate with test engineering to validate performance and reliability.
• Work with cross-functional teams (hardware, firmware, algorithms, QA) to integrate and deliver products.
