FPGA Engineer

Role Summary

Contract FPGA engineer responsible for designing, implementing, and verifying FPGA-based systems for a program based in Camden, NJ. This is a contractor role expected to last 12+ months.

Experience Level

Mid-level β€” 3 to 5+ years of relevant FPGA design experience.

Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities include implementation, verification, and delivery of FPGA designs for program requirements.

  • Design and implement FPGA logic using VHDL.
  • Synthesize, implement, and debug designs on Xilinx FPGAs using Vivado.
  • Integrate FPGA modules with system components and perform functional verification.
  • Maintain source code and deliverables in a revision control system.
  • Support program-level tracking and Earned Value Management (EVM) activities as required.

Requirements

Must-have technical skills and hiring constraints.

  • 3–5+ years of FPGA product design experience using VHDL.
  • Hands-on experience with Xilinx FPGAs and Vivado toolflow.
  • Experience using revision control systems for source management.
  • Familiarity with Earned Value Management (EVM) processes.
  • Position requires W2 candidates only.
