Responsibilities
Primary duties focus on FPGA implementation and validation of real-time control systems for multi-channel RF waveform generation and adaptive execution.
- Design and implement low-latency waveform generation and signal-processing logic on FPGAs.
- Enable sub-nanosecond synchronization across many RF channels and support microsecond-timescale adaptive execution.
- Develop and verify RTL; perform hardware-in-the-loop validation and subsystem bring-up.
- Optimize RTL and platform firmware for latency, resource use, and timing closure.
- Work with multi-clock-domain, high-throughput designs and ensure timing and functional correctness.
- Collaborate with physicists, software engineers, and hardware teams to translate system requirements into FPGA implementations.

- Proven ability to optimize designs for low latency, timing closure, and efficient resource usage.

Preferred: Familiarity with Xilinx/AMD RFSoC platforms or similar RF-capable FPGA platforms.
- Experience with hardware-in-the-loop validation and taking prototype designs to production-ready subsystems.
