Role Summary
Design and implement high-performance FPGA architectures for electronic warfare, SIGINT, and radar systems. Work hands-on in a small, technical team to deliver reliable, mission-critical FPGA solutions deployed in defense environments.

Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities include:
- Design FPGA architectures and IP using VHDL and Xilinx/Vivado toolflow.
- Implement and optimize DSP algorithms for real-time signal processing.
- Support system integration with EW, SIGINT, or radar subsystems.
- Perform RTL verification, synthesis, timing closure, and hardware bring-up.
- Collaborate with a small, hands-on engineering team and document designs.
- Follow secure development practices for classified or sensitive environments.
Requirements
Must-have qualifications:
- Strong FPGA design experience with Xilinx tools (Vivado) and VHDL.
- DSP design experience for real-time signal processing.
- Experience with EW, SIGINT, RADAR, or closely related technologies.
- Active Secret or Top Secret security clearance.
- Able to work full-time on site at Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD.
Nice-to-have:
- Experience with simulation and verification tools, IP integration, or MATLAB for algorithm development.
- Experience with board bring-up, high-speed interfaces, or hardware debugging tools.
