Role Summary
Design and deliver hardware-accelerated systems for ultra-low-latency trading. Work across FPGA architecture, RTL design, simulation, testing, and deployment while collaborating closely with quantitative researchers and strategy developers.
Experience Level
Senior β typically requires 8+ years of FPGA or ASIC architecture, design, and development experience.
Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities include:
- Collaborate with Quantitative Researchers and Strategy Developers to translate requirements into FPGA hardware designs.
- Architect and design boards and key functional blocks; make hardware selection decisions.
- Implement solutions from board-level RTL to API and integrate into production environments.
- Simulate, verify, and test FPGA designs; iterate to improve performance and reliability.
- Support deployment, monitoring, and performance tuning in a low-latency trading environment.

Must-have: 8+ years of experience in FPGA or ASIC architecture, design, and development using VHDL, Verilog, or SystemVerilog.

Must-have: Proven ability to design, simulate, and test FPGA-based systems and deliver production-quality hardware solutions.

Nice-to-have: Experience with high-speed interfaces such as Ethernet and PCIe.

Nice-to-have: Experience with high-level software languages (C#, C, Java).

Nice-to-have: Prior experience in trading or finance is helpful but not required.
Education Requirements
Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, computer science, engineering, mathematics, or a related discipline, or foreign equivalent. Equivalent practical experience may be considered.
