Role Summary

Contract FPGA engineer to design, implement, and verify FPGA-based products on a 12+ month W2 assignment in Camden, NJ. Work focuses on VHDL development for Xilinx devices using Vivado, with configuration control and program-level earned value reporting.

Experience Level

Mid-level — 3–5+ years of FPGA product design experience.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include:

• Design, implement, and verify FPGA logic using VHDL.
• Develop and integrate designs targeting Xilinx FPGAs via the Vivado toolflow.
• Use and maintain revision control for HDL and project artifacts.
• Support program management activities, including Earned Value Management (EVM) reporting.
• Collaborate with hardware, firmware, and systems teams to integrate FPGA components.

Requirements

Must-have qualifications:

• 3–5+ years of FPGA product design experience using VHDL.
• Hands-on experience with Xilinx FPGAs and Vivado.
• Experience with revision control systems (e.g., Git, SVN).
• Familiarity with Earned Value Management (EVM) processes.
• Available as a W2 contractor for a 12+ month onsite assignment in Camden, NJ.
