Role Summary
Contract FPGA engineer to design and deliver FPGA-based product features for a hardware development program. The role focuses on VHDL implementation on Xilinx devices, verification, and schedule-driven delivery.

Responsibilities
Main responsibilities for this contractor position include:
- Design and implement digital logic in VHDL targeting Xilinx FPGAs using the Vivado toolchain.
- Create and run verification environments and test benches; debug FPGA designs in lab and simulation.
- Maintain design documentation, participate in design reviews, and support integration with hardware and software teams.
- Use revision control for source management and configuration.
- Support schedule tracking and status reporting aligned with Earned Value Management processes.
Requirements
Minimum qualifications and logistical requirements:
- 3β5+ years of experience designing FPGA products using VHDL.
- Hands-on experience with Xilinx FPGAs and the Vivado toolchain.
- Experience with a revision control system (e.g., Git, SVN).
- Experience with Earned Value Management (EVM) and schedule-driven reporting.
- W2 candidates only; availability for a 12+ month contract.
