Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities include:
- Lead and grow a high-performance FPGA/silicon engineering team; recruit, mentor, and develop talent.
- Assign work, manage schedules, and ensure on-time delivery against milestones.
- Drive technical architecture and conduct hands-on design reviews for Verilog/FPGA implementations.
- Coordinate cross-functional efforts and external partners to integrate IP and validate high-speed protocols (PCIe, Ethernet, USB).
- Provide technical support to internal customers and resolve escalated engineering issues.
- Establish engineering best practices, debugging methodologies, and design-of-experiments to improve product quality.
Requirements
Must-have skills and experience:
- Proven experience managing and leading engineering teams in a technical organization.
- Hands-on FPGA Verilog design experience and familiarity with AMD/Xilinx toolchains and technologies.
- Practical experience with designs involving high-speed protocols such as PCIe, Ethernet, USB.
- Strong system and software engineering background with solid analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication; able to summarize complex problems for executives and drill into details with architects and engineers.
- Self-starter capable of operating in distributed teams.

- Proven mentoring/coaching experience and prior experience forming or scaling technical teams.
Education Requirements
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Engineering or Electronics Engineering.
