Foundry Analog IP Program Manager, Sr Staff
Role Summary
Lead and manage IP enablement programs with foundry partners in Taiwan to ensure Synopsys analog IP is validated and available on target process nodes. Work cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, FAE, CAE, R&D, and foundry engineering to align schedules, resolve technical issues, and drive tapeout and silicon characterization activities.

Responsibilities
Primary program management and technical coordination responsibilities focused on foundry enablement and silicon validation.
- Serve as primary interface between Synopsys and foundry partners in Taiwan across multiple process nodes and technology platforms.
- Manage cross-functional communication to align schedules, deliverables, and technical requirements.
- Track and drive resolution of technical issues related to PDK updates, design kit releases, IP characterization, and test-chip bring-up.
- Identify program risks early, escalate appropriately, and coordinate mitigation plans across stakeholders.
- Coordinate test-chip design, tapeout schedules, and silicon characterization with foundry partners to validate IP performance.
- Maintain program dashboards, status reports, and executive briefings that translate technical progress into business outcomes.
- Align foundry adoption timelines with internal IP development roadmaps to ensure timely IP availability for customers.
Requirements
Key technical skills and interpersonal capabilities required for success in this role.
- Deep working knowledge of IC manufacturing, process technology nodes, design enablement flows, and sign-off processes.
- Direct experience coordinating with foundries on PDK development, IP design, CAD tool enablement, or quality management.
- Familiarity with analog and digital SoC design flows, including physical design, characterization, and silicon validation methodologies.
- Fluency in English and Mandarin for technical and business communication.
- Proven ability to communicate technical program status to stakeholders at engineering and executive levels.
- Strong program tracking and reporting skills; proficiency with Microsoft Office. Practical knowledge of Copilot is a plus.
- Organizational skills to manage multiple concurrent process-node programs and to escalate before issues become critical.
Education Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field is stated; equivalent technical experience is accepted. The role expects approximately 10–15+ years of relevant semiconductor industry experience.
