Firmware Engineer
Role Summary
Design and implement firmware that connects AI-driven hardware to physical devices, focusing on bring-up, control, and diagnostics. Work with electrical, systems, and verification engineers to develop embedded software for adaptive, real-time systems.

Mid-level (typically 5+ years of relevant firmware or embedded systems experience)
Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities include firmware development across hardware bring-up, control loops, and diagnostics.
- Develop and maintain C/C++ firmware for RTOS or bare-metal targets.
- Perform board bring-up, bootloader development, and device driver implementation.
- Integrate and validate sensor interfaces and control systems.
- Use hardware debug tools (JTAG, logic analyzers, oscilloscopes) to diagnose failures.
- Collaborate with electrical, systems, and verification teams during integration and test.
- Implement diagnostics and monitoring to enable adaptive, real-time behavior.
Requirements
Must-have skills and experience for this role.
- 5+ years in firmware or embedded systems development.
- Proficient in C/C++ on RTOS or bare-metal environments.
- Experience with board bring-up, bootloaders, and driver development.
- Proficient with hardware debug tools: JTAG, logic analyzers, oscilloscopes.
- Experience with control systems, sensor interfaces, or embedded ML.
