Role Summary

Develop embedded firmware for Microchip capacitive-touch products, working on firmware, software and hardware co-development for MCU-based sensing solutions. Responsibilities

Main responsibilities include firmware design, implementation, testing, and cross-team coordination.

• Design, implement and debug C and Assembly applications for 8-bit and 32-bit microcontrollers.
• Perform firmware–hardware co-development and integrate MCU peripherals (DMA, ADC, I2C, SPI).
• Define firmware architecture and deliver assigned project modules on committed timelines.

Requirements

• In-depth experience with microcontroller peripherals and firmware architecture.
• Experience with firmware–hardware co-development and debugging on target hardware.

• Knowledge of MPLAB/Harmony and ARM tool chains is a plus.
• Experience with automation frameworks and test automation is a plus.
• Good verbal and written communication; self-motivated and able to work collaboratively and lead when required.
• Experience with capacitive touch solutions is a plus.
• Knowledge of CMSIS and functional-safety standards (ISO 26262, CLASS-B) is a strong plus.

Education Requirements
