Firmware Development Engineer (Student / Intern)
Develop firmware that bridges hardware and software for next-generation processors and systems. Work on low-level firmware, microcode, IP-specific firmware, FPGA and DSP interfaces, and validation together with cross-functional engineering teams.
Remote position for candidates located in Canada; Intel does not provide immigration sponsorship for this role.
Entry-level / Internship. Targeted to current students or early-career candidates.
Contribute to firmware and system software that directly interfaces with hardware; participate in design, review, and validation activities.
Must-have technical skills and logistic requirements.
Nice-to-have:
Active student pursuing a BASc or BS in Computer Science or a related technical field. Coursework or experience in C and system software is expected; additional coursework in embedded systems, digital ASIC design, SoC/subsystem architecture, or related areas is beneficial.
