Field Application Support Engineering Manager - Hardware-Assisted Verification

Role Summary

Lead a team of Field Application Support Engineers in the Americas to resolve technical customer issues and drive customer success for Siemens EDA hardware-assisted verification solutions (emulation and prototyping).

Work closely with account, sales, and product teams to align support activities with sales goals and product feedback, and to coordinate technical resources across accounts.

Experience Level

Senior β€” typically requires 7+ years of related experience in hardware-assisted verification, verification methodologies, or digital semiconductor design.

Responsibilities

Manage and mentor support engineers and coordinate technical support across accounts.

  • Provide technical guidance and leadership to Support Engineers resolving customer issues.
  • Partner with account and sales teams to align support with sales campaigns and future opportunities.
  • Work with product teams to triage and resolve product issues and provide product feedback.
  • Provide customer, market, and competitive insights to inform portfolio and account strategies.
  • Coordinate technical resources for prioritized customer engagements.
  • Set expectations for technical delivery and professional development of the team.

Requirements

  • Strong technical background in hardware-assisted verification with experience in emulation and/or prototyping; familiarity with verification methodologies and digital semiconductor design.
  • Demonstrated success leading technical engagements or projects and mentoring technical staff.
  • Strong verbal and written communication, team-building, cross-functional collaboration, and relationship management skills.
  • Proven ability to translate technical outcomes into business value and to prioritize customer issues and processes that drive customer success.
  • Experience coordinating across Product Engineering, R&D, Support, and Services teams.
  • Willingness to travel up to 10%.
  • Controlled-technology requirement: Position is subject to U.S. export control (ITAR/EAR); employment contingent on U.S. Person status or obtaining required export license.

Education Requirements

BS in Engineering or Computer Science plus a minimum of 7 years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
