Field Application Support Engineering Manager — Hardware-Assisted Verification
Role Summary
Lead a team of Field Application Support Engineers in the Americas to resolve customer technical issues, ensure customer success, and support sales and product teams. Drive technical guidance, resource coordination, and cross-functional collaboration to translate technical outcomes into business value.
Experience Level
Senior — requires a minimum of 7 years related experience (manager-level technical leadership).
Responsibilities
Primary accountabilities include team leadership, customer technical support, and cross-functional coordination.
- Lead, mentor, and develop Field Application Support Engineers; set expectations for technical delivery.
- Provide technical guidance and leadership on hardware-assisted verification, emulation, and prototyping engagements.
- Coordinate technical resources across accounts and prioritize support for key customer engagements.
- Collaborate with account and sales teams to align support with sales campaigns and customer goals.
- Partner with product and R&D teams to identify, diagnose, and resolve product issues and provide feedback.
- Provide customer, market, and competitive insights to inform portfolio and account strategies.
- Establish and reinforce practices and procedures to drive consistent customer success.
Requirements
Must-have technical and leadership qualifications.
- Strong technical background in hardware-assisted verification in emulation and/or prototyping, verification methodologies, and digital semiconductor design.
- Proven experience leading technical engagements or projects and building cross-functional relationships.
- Ability to translate technical success into business outcomes and prioritize customer issues.
- Experience coordinating across Product Engineering, R&D, Support, and Services.
- Excellent communication, team-building, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Willingness to travel up to 10%.
Education Requirements
BS in Engineering or Computer Science is stated; or equivalent combination of education and work experience. (Minimum of 7 years related experience expected.)
