Role Summary

Lead a Field Application Engineering (FAE) team for Siemens EDA's Hardware Assisted Verification portfolio, driving technical sales, customer evaluations, and product feedback across emulation, FPGA prototyping, DFT, and low-power verification.

Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Research & Development and regional teams; role involves regular customer interaction and up to 50% travel.

Responsibilities

Own technical execution and team leadership for assigned product lines and global accounts.

  • Lead and mentor Field Application Engineers; manage hiring, onboarding, training, and performance.
  • Drive technical evaluations and customer engagements for emulation, offload/hybrid flows, FPGA prototyping, DFT, and power-aware verification.
  • Define success criteria for engagements and communicate technical value and ROI to customers and executives.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Account Technology Managers, Product Engineering, R&D, Support, and Services to address customer needs and influence roadmap.
  • Prioritize FAE resources, identify new business opportunities, and coordinate cross-region account strategies.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in technical sales, field application engineering, or related technical leadership roles.
  • Demonstrated leadership of technical sales or FAE organizations and experience managing teams.
  • Deep expertise in hardware emulation, emulation offload/acceleration, and FPGA prototyping for SoC and ASIC design.
  • Strong knowledge of Design for Test (DFT) methodologies including scan, ATPG, MBIST/LBIST, and compression.
  • Proficiency in power and low-power verification techniques (e.g., UPF/1801, isolation, retention, power-aware debug).
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to influence product roadmap and present technical/business value to customers and executives.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50%.

Education Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Computer Science, or equivalent professional experience. The posting also allows related engineering fields or equivalent practical experience.
