Field Application Engineer - RTL Design / PowerPro
Role Summary
Customer-facing Field Application Engineer responsible for technical enablement, evaluations, deployments, and adoption of the PowerPro platform for RTL and gate-level power analysis and optimization. The role works closely with customers, sales, R&D, and product teams to drive technical strategy and product improvements.

Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities include:
- Partner with sales to define and execute technical strategies aligned to customer needs.
- Deliver product demonstrations, technical presentations, and workshops.
- Lead evaluations and proof-of-concepts to drive business wins.
- Support deployment and adoption of PowerPro across customer teams.
- Provide pre- and post-sales technical support, including debugging and training.
- Collaborate with R&D and product teams to influence product enhancements.
- Work in a hybrid environment and travel up to approximately 20% as required.
Requirements
Must-have technical skills and customer-facing capabilities.
- Strong RTL design experience (Verilog, SystemVerilog, or VHDL).
- Knowledge of digital design, synthesis, and verification flows.
- Experience with RTL power analysis and optimization methodologies.
- Scripting skills: Tcl and Python.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills; ability to work directly with customers.

- Experience with power tools (PrimePower, PowerArtist, or similar).
- Knowledge of low-power methodologies (UPF/CPF).
- Exposure to advanced SoC designs and process nodes.
- Experience leveraging AI-driven tools or agent frameworks to improve productivity or debugging.
Education Requirements
BS or MS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field (as specified in the posting).
