Role Summary

Senior customer-facing technical leader responsible for driving business growth through strategic engagements, technical evaluations, and solution architecture for Siemens EDA proFPGA and related platforms. Works closely with Sales, Product, R&D, Support, and Services to lead evaluations, deployments, and long-term customer adoption.

Experience Level

Senior-level. The role expects 8+ years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

Primary duties include leading technical sales engagements and ensuring successful customer evaluations and deployments.

• Act as primary technical advisor for strategic, high-impact customer accounts.
• Build and maintain relationships with senior technical and business stakeholders.
• Lead technical discovery and align solutions to customer business goals and competitive landscape.
• Own and drive large, multi-product evaluations and proof-of-value projects.
• Define technical strategy for sales campaigns and influence deal outcomes with Sales.
• Architect end-to-end solutions and guide customers on deployment and adoption.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams across Sales, Product, R&D, Support, and Services.
• Mentor and coach field engineers and establish technical best practices.
• Provide input on portfolio strategy, licensing, and competitive positioning.

Requirements

Must-have technical experience and skills for delivering and supporting multi-tool EDA solutions in customer environments.

• Advanced experience with EDA tools and integrating/optimizing solutions inside customer environments (semiconductor or electronic design flows).
• Experience scripting or automating workflows using APIs, configuration tools, or custom scripts.
• Proven ability to position multi-tool, multi-platform solutions and translate technical differentiation into business impact.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills with ability to influence technical and business stakeholders.
• Proven success collaborating across sales, product, and technical teams in a customer-facing role.
• Experience leading large-scale evaluations or enterprise-level deployments.
• Strong knowledge of competitive EDA technologies and industry trends.
• Prior mentoring or technical leadership experience in a field or customer-facing team.

Education Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field is preferred. The posting specifies 8+ years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
