Field Application Engineer – Graduate Rotational Program
Role Summary
Participate in an 18-month rotational program to develop technical and customer-facing skills for FPGA-based solutions. Rotations cover FPGA architecture and design, pre-sales engineering, customer support, and training.
This is an entry-level, customer-facing engineering role focused on applying FPGA hardware and software tools to solve customer problems and deliver technical demos and training.
Experience Level
Entry-level — intended for recent graduates or early-career engineers; suitable for those starting their professional engineering careers.
Responsibilities
Core responsibilities during rotations and after placement include:
- Rotate through 3–4 departments to gain hands-on experience in FPGA design, pre-sales, support, and training.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop FPGA-based solutions for customer requirements.
- Engage directly with customers to diagnose challenges, propose solutions, and support implementation and debugging.
- Develop and present technical demos, proofs-of-concept, and training materials for customers and internal teams.
- Acquire in-depth knowledge of FPGA hardware, design methodologies, and software tools.
Requirements

- Must-have: Understanding of digital design, FPGA architectures, and hardware description languages (VHDL/Verilog).
- Must-have: Familiarity with FPGA development tools (for example, Vivado or Quartus).
- Must-have: Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills; customer-first mindset.
- Must-have: Willingness to travel as needed for customer interactions or training.
- Must-have: Authorization to work in the United States without company sponsorship (this role is not eligible for visa sponsorship).
- Nice-to-have: Knowledge of embedded systems, signal processing, or high-speed interfaces.
Education Requirements
Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a closely related technical field.
