Field Application Engineer (Europe)
Role Summary
Voltai builds AI-driven hardware design systems and agents for electronics and semiconductor development. This role works directly with customers and partners to integrate Voltais hardware and design tools into customer workflows and to close technical feedback loops with product and design teams.
This is a U.S. contract role, performed remotely. The position requires availability to support a six-day workweek as stated in the posting.
Experience Level
Mid-level. The posting indicates a preference for candidates with 5+ years of relevant experience in hardware design, simulation, EDA tools, or related customer-facing technical roles.
Responsibilities
Core responsibilities include direct technical engagement with customers and partners and end-to-end problem resolution.
- Integrate Voltai hardware and design systems into customer workflows and environments.
- Provide deep technical support and troubleshoot complex issues spanning software and hardware boundaries.
- Perform schematic review, board-level analysis, and failure investigation to identify root causes.
- Validate designs and assist customers with debug and design verification activities.
- Translate customer requirements, bug reports, and feature requests into clear feedback for product and design teams.
- Document findings and communicate complex technical concepts clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Requirements

- 5+ years of experience in hardware design, simulation, or EDA tools.
- Proven experience in customer support, debugging, and design validation for hardware or embedded systems.
