Role Summary

Support customers integrating ONiO's batteryless microcontroller platform into real products. Act as the technical liaison between customers, sales, and internal engineering teams to enable successful evaluation, development, and production design-ins.

The role combines hands-on hardware and firmware debugging with customer-facing activities such as demos, training, and feedback collection to influence the product roadmap.

Responsibilities

Provide technical and hands-on support through the full integration lifecycle and represent ONiO technically to customers and partners.

• Provide technical support during evaluation, development, and integration phases.
• Act as the main technical interface between customers and internal teams.
• Deliver product presentations, demos, and hands-on support at customer sites and events.
• Assist with schematics, PCB reviews, debugging, performance optimization, and firmware.
• Collaborate with sales and product teams to propose solutions and gather requirements.
• Collect customer feedback to inform the product roadmap.
• Support design-in activities from concept through production.
• Develop application notes, quick-start guides, and other technical collateral.
• Train distributors, OEMs, and internal teams on products and tools.

Requirements

Must-have technical skills and customer-facing experience for successful performance in this role.

• Background in embedded systems, electronics, or semiconductor technology.
• Hands-on experience with microcontrollers (MCUs), sensors, PMICs, or SoCs.
• Familiarity with hardware debugging tools (oscilloscopes, protocol analyzers, protocol decoders).
• Embedded software and scripting experience (C, Python, shell).
• Strong verbal and written communicator able to explain technical concepts clearly.
• Customer-focused with a practical problem-solving mindset.
• Willingness to travel to customer sites, events, and workshops.

Nice-to-have

• Knowledge of RTOS, BLE, Wi‑Fi, or analog/mixed-signal design.
• Prior experience in customer-facing technical roles (field applications, support, or pre-sales engineering).

Education Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field is stated.
