FE RTL Infrastructure - CAD Engineer
Role Summary
Join the Silicon Technologies group to develop and operate front-end RTL infrastructure and CAD systems used by RTL design and verification teams. You will maintain version-control and configuration-management systems, support RTL gatekeeping and soft IP release flows, and improve engineering productivity through automation.
Work includes Perforce administration, building tools and generative AI solutions for infrastructure reliability, and maintaining training materials for designers and verification engineers.

Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities include building, operating, and improving infrastructure that supports RTL design and verification workflows.
- Develop and maintain RTL gatekeeping infrastructure and design/DV collateral workflows.
- Design and support soft IP development and release methodologies.
- Administer Perforce version-control systems and ensure data integrity and performance.
- Maintain centralized configuration management to enable consistent design views across front-end flows.
- Design and integrate automation and generative AI tools to accelerate engineering productivity and improve infrastructure reliability.
- Create and update internal training materials; coordinate vendor and internal trainings for design and DV teams.
- Drive adoption of scalable, robust infrastructure solutions across RTL design and verification organizations.
Requirements
Must-have technical skills and experience.
- Expert programming skills in Python or Perl.
- Practical knowledge of Verilog and SystemVerilog for RTL workflows.
- Hands-on experience with version control administration and Perforce operations.
- Experience building tooling and automation for RTL design and verification flows.
- Strong troubleshooting skills for CAD/infrastructure systems and CI-like flows.
Nice-to-have:
- Experience applying generative AI or ML tools to engineering infrastructure.
- Experience with soft IP release processes and large-scale configuration management.
Education Requirements
