FC Verification Engineer
Role Summary
Join NVIDIA's Networking Silicon team to drive full-chip verification and system-level validation for next-generation NICs. The role focuses on defining verification plans, executing end-to-end verification, and resolving cross-block issues to ensure feature correctness and compliance.
Experience Level
Mid-level — typically 3–5 years of relevant verification or hardware simulation experience.
Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities include ownership of system-level verification and cross-team debugging.
- Define system-level verification plans and drive end-to-end execution for full-chip features.
- Investigate, debug, and resolve cross-block and system integration issues.
- Analyze chip micro-architecture and ensure feature correctness and compliance.
- Collaborate with Architecture, u-arch, Firmware and other NIC teams to coordinate verification and fixes.
- Leverage AI-assisted development tools to accelerate coding and verification tasks.
Requirements
Must-have technical skills and professional traits.
- 3–5 years of experience in verification or hardware simulation.
- Strong debugging, problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Proactive, innovation-oriented approach to adopting new methodologies and tools.
- Effective communicator and team player with good interpersonal skills.
Nice-to-have:
- Prior experience in SoC verification.
- Knowledge of network flows and protocols.
Education Requirements
Bachelor's degree (B.Sc.) in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering, or equivalent practical experience. High academic performance preferred but equivalent hands-on experience will be considered.
