Fab15 CMP Process & Equipment Engineer
Role Summary
The Process & Equipment Engineer (PEE) maintains production-line health for CMP (chemical–mechanical planarization) by troubleshooting, risk assessment, fab startup and tool release. The role drives process and hardware optimization to improve product quality, yield, cost and wafer-per-hour capacity.
Experience Level
Mid-level — minimum 2 years' experience in semiconductor or manufacturing process roles is required.
Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include process development, equipment parameterization, and cross-functional implementation of new tools and materials.
- Develop and improve CMP process conditions and related technology.
- Improve process capability and reduce production costs.
- Establish and modify process-management projects and controls.
- Set up process parameters across various semiconductor tools.
- Evaluate, plan and deploy new equipment and materials into production.
- Analyze abnormalities and implement corrective actions.
Requirements
Must-have skills and experience.
- Minimum 2 years' experience in semiconductor or manufacturing industry in a process-related role.
- Problem-solving and analytical skills for process and equipment issues.
- Commitment and tenacity to meet goals and drive improvements.
- Effective communication skills for collaboration across functions.
- Time-management and multitasking ability to handle competing priorities.
- Japanese language proficiency at a conversational level.
Preferred but not required.
- Enthusiasm for continuous learning, growth and self-development.
Education Requirements
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or Materials Engineering.
