Experienced Engineer for Reliability
Role Summary
Join the Reliability team in Dresden to plan and execute reliability qualification and assessment for advanced semiconductor technologies. The role partners with Technology Development, Manufacturing and Design teams to ensure process and product robustness and to support technology qualification and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities
Accountable for designing, executing and reporting reliability work to support technology qualification and problem resolution.
- Plan, execute and analyze reliability qualification activities for technologies and process changes.
- Design and characterize reliability test structures and establish reliability models and design rules.
- Perform reliability assessments and failure analysis for technology development, fab excursions, and customer issues.
- Analyze reliability data and provide recommendations to improve process robustness and product reliability.
- Develop and apply reliability models for device degradation and wear-out mechanisms.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define reliability requirements and support new technology development.
- Drive improvements in reliability methodologies, test cycle time, data integrity and documentation; maintain procedures and test methods.
- Support Environmental, Health, Safety & Security (EHS&S) requirements and safe work practices.
Requirements
Must-have technical skills and behavioral competencies for successful performance in this role.
- Experience in semiconductor reliability engineering, technology development, process integration, or device engineering.
- Knowledge of semiconductor reliability failure mechanisms such as HCI, NBTI, TDDB and electromigration.
- Experience with reliability qualification, data analysis and root-cause investigations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and attention to data integrity.
- Ability to work effectively in cross-functional and global teams.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
Education Requirements
Master's degree or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Materials Science, Semiconductor Engineering, or a related field.
