Analog Design Engineer
Weebit NanoJob Title
Analog Design Engineer
Role Summary
Lead the design and delivery of high-performance analog circuits for embedded ReRAM and mixed-signal products. Work within an analog/mixed-signal team and collaborate with digital design, system architecture, and process engineering to take designs from concept to production.
Experience Level
Mid-level — expects 6+ years of analog circuit design experience.
Responsibilities
Design, validate and transition analog and mixed-signal circuits into production. Key responsibilities include:
- Design and develop complex analog circuits such as amplifiers, memory-array interfaces, LDOs, voltage references, comparators, and ADCs/DACs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define system specifications and translate requirements into realizable designs.
- Perform simulations and analyses to validate designs and identify/mitigate risks early using tools like Cadence Virtuoso and Siemens Solido.
- Oversee prototype-to-production transition and ensure compliance with quality and industry standards.
- Optimize designs for reliability, yield and manufacturability.
Requirements
Essential skills and experience:
- 6+ years of hands-on analog circuit design with a track record of product launches.
- Strong understanding of analog design principles, feedback systems and signal integrity.
- Proficiency with industry design and simulation tools (for example Cadence Virtuoso and Siemens Solido).
- Experience with CMOS process nodes in the 90nm–16nm range.
- Familiarity with mixed-signal design and signal processing concepts.
- Effective communicator able to convey complex technical concepts and work collaboratively or independently.
- Proactive, problem-solving mindset and drive for innovation.
Nice-to-have:
- Verilog-A or SystemVerilog modeling experience.
- Familiarity with sign-off simulations (IR/EM).
- Hands-on layout tool experience.
- Understanding of manufacturing processes and test methodologies for analog circuits.
Education Requirements
Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field; equivalent practical experience will be considered.
