Role Summary

Senior quality leader responsible for planning and executing cross-functional quality initiatives across Synopsys' silicon IP portfolio. Leads the IP Group Quality team to drive measurable improvements in processes, metrics, and product delivery.

Works with engineering, program management, and executive stakeholders to remove obstacles, maintain schedule visibility, and ensure accountability for key quality outcomes.

Experience Level

Senior — typically 10+ years of relevant experience driving quality or program initiatives through the full product lifecycle.

Responsibilities

Own end-to-end execution and reporting for high-impact quality programs; ensure alignment and timely delivery across teams.

• Plan, sequence, and drive cross-functional quality initiatives with clear scope, timelines, and owners.
• Develop and maintain dashboards, KPIs, and metric-based reporting to track progress and surface risks.
• Monitor schedules and objectives; identify and mitigate risks early to prevent delays.
• Lead structured stakeholder engagement and regular check-ins to maintain momentum and resolve issues.
• Provide concise executive-level updates, risk assessments, and recommendations to leadership.
• Promote program management best practices and continuous improvement across teams.
• Manage multiple concurrent initiatives with attention to detail and follow-through.

Requirements

Essential technical and leadership skills required to deliver results in a semiconductor IP development environment.

• 10+ years of experience driving quality initiatives through the product lifecycle; strong program/project management track record.
• Working knowledge of the semiconductor industry and silicon IP design flows and methodologies.
• Proven ability to lead through influence and build cross-functional accountability.
• Strong executive communication skills and experience presenting concise updates to senior leaders.
• Skilled at data-driven decision-making, risk management, and problem solving.
• Proficiency with project collaboration and tracking tools such as Microsoft Project, Confluence, and Jira.

Education Requirements

Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline or equivalent practical experience.
