Executive Director of Established Nodes Product Strategies
Role Summary
Lead creation and execution of product strategy for established process nodes, with a focus on 3D and chiplet verification and ecosystem integration. Build and manage a technical product management team to define requirements, drive adoption, and align established-node solutions with Synopsys' advanced-node offerings.
Work cross-functionally with product management, R&D, technical sales, ecosystem partners, and marketing to embed Synopsys solutions in customer flows and influence product roadmaps.
Experience Level
Senior β 25+ years of relevant EDA/semiconductor product management and marketing experience.
Responsibilities
Accountable for strategy, team building, and cross-organizational execution for established-node product initiatives. Key responsibilities include:
- Define and execute strategies for established process node designs and align them with advanced-node offerings.
- Establish and lead a technical product management team to produce product requirements and technical collateral.
- Coordinate with product management, R&D, and technical sales to align verification needs and product roadmaps.
- Engage with customers and partners to embed Synopsys solutions into design flows and drive integrations.
- Partner with marketing and communications to develop joint programs and go-to-market initiatives.
- Advise R&D on Process Design Kit (PDK) approaches when requested.
- Negotiate and influence at senior levels to advance partner and internal initiatives.
- Train and support global technical sales on market needs and solution positioning.
Requirements
Must-have technical and leadership qualifications, followed by desirable attributes.
- 25+ years of EDA/semiconductor product management and marketing experience, with proven success creating and scaling product teams.
- Deep knowledge of the semiconductor ecosystem, including foundry relationships and PDK processes.
- Established industry network and credibility within companies focused on established process nodes.
- Proven ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders and senior executives.
- Strong presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills; ability to craft executive-level presentations.
- Results-oriented, able to drive projects and teams under time pressure.
- Willingness to travel up to 25% for customer and partner engagement.
- Nice-to-have: experience specifically with 3D/chiplet verification initiatives and ecosystem integrations.
Education Requirements
BS or MS in Electrical Engineering or Device Physics required; PhD desired.
